The APRICOT 2027 Summit will be held between 24th February and 4th March 2027 in Hong Kong. APRICOT 2027 is jointly hosted by HKNOG and HKIX.
The APRICOT MasterClasses take place from 24th to 26th February at the Hong Kong Productivity Council in Kowloon, with the APRICOT Summit taking place from 1st to 4th March at the Hopewell Hotel in Wan Chai.
The APRICOT 2027 Secretariat expects the key timeline dates for APRICOT 2027 to be as follows:
APRICOT is organised by the Asia Pacific Network Operators Group Ltd, a not-for-profit organisation providing APRICOT's corporate support, and overseen by the APNOG Board.
Hong Kong Internet Exchange (HKIX) is one of the largest exchange points in the Asia-Pacific region. Established in 1995 by The Chinese University of Hong Kong, it serves to allow local and international ISPs to exchange data traffic directly.
By keeping local traffic within Hong Kong rather than routing it through overseas servers, it significantly reduces latency and lowers costs for providers. Today, HKIX handles over the vast majority of the city's internet traffic for a wide range of organizations — from global tech giants to small-scale service providers.
Beyond its technical role, HKIX is deeply committed to supporting the internet community. We actively foster industry growth and collaboration by sponsoring various NOGs and hosting technical workshops. By sharing expertise and resources to cultivate the next generation of talent, HKIX aims to add long-term value to the internet ecosystem and support the development of a skilled, connected professional community worldwide.
HKNOG is for network operators having presence in Hong Kong to exchange technical and operational knowledge and information, and is a Special Interest Group of HKISPA.
